Covid19 has brought so many changes and not all of us have managed to adjust well and find ways of coping with the "new normal"

Some lost jobs, some are on a forced leave whilst others had businesses that were negatively affected by this pandemic. Making peace with this and trying to figure out a new plan is not easy. Responsibilities remain the same whilst one tries to get back on their feet so they can manage.

Today I decided to encourage all of us to be strong, to be there for one another and to keep going and chasing those dreams even in the midst of this storm. You may be doing very well but have you thought of someone who is struggling to get a decent meal. If you are going through a hard time, do not give up. Find someone to talk to, seek help and accept even the humblest hustle that can help you survive. Do not bottle things up, don't be too hard on yourself because of things you didn't manage to do. Don't let these difficult times define you. Stay strong and hope for the best. You may suspend plans because of circumstances but do not see yourself as a failure. So many things may have been delayed but they are to be achieved or done.

The changes brought in by covid19 require us to make adjustments to our day to day living. We need to find new ways of doing things, new hustles and new opportunities that are inline with the current situation.

We cannot wait for the old normal when we have no idea if its ever going to come back. Let us embrace change and keep moving.

Reach out to someone

Check on someone

Help someone

Listen to someone

Talk to someone

We all need someone at some point in this live. Let us unite and we will help in ensuring a good state of mental health for many people, thereby creating safe societies and reducing mental health related issues.

Have a fruitful week.

Stay safe.
