When it comes to GBV men comes to mind when it is men as source women as victim and that is what society see when victim is the man society don't see or don't want to see it. Generalizing issues has landed us here and we should surely stop thinking that women are angels. Women are capable of doing the very same bad things that man are capable of. Thinking women are always correct will not solve anything.
Victims of abuse male or female should talk as early as possible. Taking too much time to talk about issues has seen many people develop the Stockholm syndrome and this is why many people are in toxic relationships and they do not realise it. People ignore the signs, and then ignore the acts until they see nothing wrong in some of the abusive behaviours.
BEING A GOOD OR A BAD PERSON HAS NOTHING TO DO…
Alright here are my thoughts.
1. We should stop generalizing in every situation, eg in my 27 years of living I have never seen my parents having an argument, I have never laid a hand or forced a woman.
2. Most importantly, we have millions of women that are always being slapped by their boyfriends and they keep quiet say it's just a slap, some even say they think they love them when they using force other than sweet words.
3. Woman should stop pushing man and with a saying " umfati akashayiwa" they'll slap you first knowing that they forever correct like a customer which is bullshit.
